I do not agree with negative views on this tripod, as the wrong size was chosen by the buyer. There are several steps Gorillapod for different sizes of cameras and lenses. It is suitable for small cameras, and works very well for this purpose (at least for me it does). My advice: Before you buy andy Gorillapod, Joby see on the site, which is correct for the type of camera and lens you have, and then you can go to buy cheaper @ Amazon. ;), I've never used a Gorillapod, so I was not sure what to expect. This is very versatile. It adheres to almost everything. With glasses, I just moved my legs a bit and was very stable. It has a bubble level, so I have no fear of getting hurt ..
